Stuff to cover:
1. Mastered “the face”
2. The Artful Lodger
3. The Holy Fonz – Family Guy
So in the book I just read, one of the main characters, Paul, had this description of Eliza that made her seem like a goddess. This is when she tilts her chin down, and with her eyes looks up “into the sky”. From the way he said it in the book, it made me feel like that face was so powerful. And so today I practiced the face, and during Philosophy, I learned that I mastered the look. I could tell because I tested it on Jesse. I made sure he was watching. As I slowly looked up at him, we locked eyes, and it was intense… so intense that I looked back down at my papers. About a minute later, I looked back up to Mr. Neumeister, still making the face, and turned to Jesse and he was still staring at me. That goes to show you that even the simplest trick with your eyes can mesmerize a person.
The Artful Lodger is the store we visited for my Interior Design class. It was one of the coolest stores that I have ever been in. They had the coolest couch ever! PERIOD. Now this couch can come in either the size of a cot, twin, full, queen, or king. Oh gah, I just left out an important thing about the couch… which is that it folds out into a bed, thus making the sizes like that. And the best part is that it doesn’t have that God awful metal bar in the middle of it when you lay down and hurts your back like hell. Whoever invented this couch has to be a genius.
The Holy Fonz is an episode of Family Guy that we watched in Philosophy today. To be honest, I don’t understand how that show is funny. But whatever, so we watched it and it was … great now I lost my train of thought on what I was going to explain. Oh well.
I keep playing the song To Be Alone With You by Sufjan Stevens over and over again, and keep thinking of Richard. God this is going to be hard making a long distance relationship work. I hope it works out. I hope for the best. I really like Richard.
So far since I have been back in Virginia, I have gotten about 30 hair comments. How do I know this, because yesterday Rebecca, the new girl, had counted since my arrival, and I had 23. I’ll be keeping updates on how many I get everyday.
Number of Hair Comments Today: 7
Only a few more minutes until we have another dorm meeting. I am so tired I just want to sleep. Oh well.
